Beginner Band News!

We are super excited to get started!  Most importantly, please be sure you are receiving our emails!  

We use Presto to communicate with our HCMS Band Families. Make sure to check your inbox for emails from Presto! 

Required Materials/Class Supplies

All students will be provided with a band binder.  Students must supply the following for band class:

• Heavy duty pencil pouch with sharpened or mechanical pencils

• AAA batteries for tuner/metronome

The following instruments are to be rented or purchased from a reputable source:

• Flute

• Clarinet

• Alto Saxophone

• Trumpet

• Trombone

• Percussion

The following instruments are rented from Hill Country Middle School:

• Oboe

• Bassoon

• Horn

• Euphonium

• Tuba 

All instruments have required supplies specific to the instruments that are secured from a local music store.
