Physical Education

A P.E. uniform is required for each student. The P.E. uniform is the same for all 6th, 7th and 8th graders. The cost of the P.E. uniform is $25.00 and can be purchased from the school store. Students need to bring their uniform home at the end of each week so it can be washed. Students should write their name in permanent marker in the white area on both the shirt and shorts. Athletic shoes are also required. 

• 50% Daily Grades

  • Daily grades consist of points earned from wearing proper footwear and your PE uniform every day; along with, participation in daily activities.

• 50% Major Grades

  • Major grades will be a combinations of your daily participation, teamwork, sportsmanship and understanding of unit objectives.

Our curriculum is composed of the following:

Fitness activities, fitness games, fitness concepts, class games, class units of individual and lifetime sports, daily exercises and stretches

Examples of class units include soccer, badminton, tennis, pickle ball, golf, disc golf, volleyball, basketball, jogging, flag football, kickball etc.
