About Me

Hello! My name is Hailey Charter. This is my third year at West Ridge Middle School and I will be teaching Physical Education as well as coaching basketball and track and field. I attended Kankakee Community College in Illinois where I got my associate’s degree and then transferred to the University of Illinois and got my bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. I began my teaching career in Chicago where I taught elementary physical education on the west side. A few fun facts about me: I moved to Austin from Chicago in 2023, I love to travel and visit places I’ve never been, and my favorite sports teams are anything Chicago but especially the Bulls and the Cubs. I look forward to meeting you all and having a great year! GO WILDCATS!!
