Bring a charged ipad
This contest is designed to encourage students to expand their knowledge of social studies, particularly in the areas of history, government systems, economics, citizenship and culture. Students will be given an objective test containing approximately 40 questions which must be answered in 30 minutes. If you love Social Studies, come try out for the team!
Resources including readings, videos, review games, maps, charts and graphs are posted weekly on Tuesdays along with a practice test in Google Classroom. Students have 1 week to complete each test (in a 30 minute session without resources). The following Tuesday the test key will be posted, along with new resources.
Optional in person open door practices are Friday at 8 AM OR Friday during WCT in room 211. Topics can be explained, peer to peer teaching, test taking tips, trivia time or review games. Please check in with WCT teacher before coming or use the UIL pass I provide!
