About Me

I am excited for the 2025-26 school year! I am entering my 12th year at West Ridge, and approaching my 13th year living in Austin. I love working at West Ridge, and very grateful to be a part of the Eanes ISD community. I grew up in  Lewiston, New York. While I love to go home and visit, I don't miss those Western New York winters! Growing up in Western New York, I am a HUGE Buffalo Bills fan and every year believe we will win the Super Bowl.  This is the year it happens! GO BILLS! I have 1 dog named Marv (after the great Marv Levy), and two poorly behaved cats named Larry and Penelope. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in History from Buffalo State College and my Master's Degree from Niagara University in Social Studies Education. I have taught multiple subjects and grades, including 11th grade Advanced Placement United States History, Middle School Special Education, 8th Grade US History and 5th grade Science. I also am the cheer sponsor,UIL Impromptu Speaking and UIL Social Studies Coach. I highly encourage students to get involved in school activities and to make the most of out their middle school years! It is going to be a fun and successful year! Go Bills!
