The primary focal areas in Grade 7 are number and operations; proportionality; expressions, equations and relationships; geometery measurements, data analysis, and Probability. The lessons are designed so that new learning builds on preceding skills and are needed to learn new skills. Communication, Problem-Solving, Reasoning, Connections, and Representation are the process that are embedded throughout the teaching and learning of mathematical concept.
