High School and Beyond Plan and
SchooLinks
The HSBP is a graduation requirement designed to help students annually reflect on three guiding questions: Who am I?, What can I Become? and How do I Become That?. The HSBP is designed to help students explore careers or college pathways starting in 7th grade. Throughout the year, students update their HSBP goals to reflect their changing interests and goals, connecting what they learn and the skills they develop to future career pathways.

As we head into 2nd semester, EHS wants to emphasize the importance of attendance in all courses including Eagle Time. Eagle Time is an advisory period on Wednesdays and Fridays. This time provides necessary support for your high school student to be successful in earning their diploma and preparing for life after high school. Key points to know:
Regular attendance in Eagle Time is essential for supporting students in the completion of the state-required High School and Beyond Plan (HSBP).
The HSBP is required to earn a diploma.
0.25 credit/year can be earned grades 9-12 by completing the grade level requirements, uploading into SchooLinks, and maintaining 75% attendance in Eagle Time
Eagle Time provides structured time for students, at each grade level, to receive guidance, review graduation requirements, explore postsecondary options, and develop academic and career goals. With the support of teachers, students are able to update their plans, select appropriate coursework, and make informed decisions about their future. Each grade level has requirements that will need to be completed and uploaded into SchooLinks (state-required HSBP platform) by April 24th. Each grade level’s requirements are attached for your reference. The assigned Eagle Time teacher will review and sign off on the annual requirements for each student. All students must submit their HSBP yearly. This is a graduation requirement; all tasks must be completed and the HSBP submitted in SchooLinks by April 24th.
Parent/Guardian, you will be able to view your student’s HSBP during the Student Led Conferences April 1st and 2nd. At this time, you will be connected with the state-required HSBP platform called SchooLinks. We are excited to use SchooLinks as it allows for school officials to guide and support students’ future plans through industry, college, career tours, expos, field trips, and more. It will also be a guiding tool for students and parents as you jointly plan for the next steps beyond high school.
