PLCs

IES professional learning communities are characterized by a culture of collaboration, shared leadership, and collective responsibility for student learning. 

Professional Learning Communities are created to empower participants to help lead and support the learning of all Community participants.

Members of  PLCs meet to analyze relevant data, share strategies, plan instruction, and reflect on best practices. 

The ultimate goal is to ensure high levels of learning for all students by improving educator effectiveness through ongoing professional development and teamwork.

PLCs thrive when enrolled members attend all 4 scheduled sessions.
