NYSAA Required Teacher Training

This workshop will discuss the contents of the NYSED Numeracy Brief # 7: Understanding, Using, and Modifying Curriculum Materials. We will look at how to maintain the integrity of the curriculum materials that teachers are using in their classrooms while ensuring that their instructional time "fits" the requirements of the materials. We will be referencing the NYSED Next Generation Mathematics Learning Standards as well as the Performance Level Descriptions to determine the high-leverage components of the curriculum.
