Technology Pilots are a thoughtful way to incorporate a new learning experience for teachers. Through one-on-one coaching, teachers can learn how the technology works and craft a plan that meets their previously-identified curricular goals. TECHNOLOGY is not an add-on, but meant to fundamentally transform the way students learn and demonstrate their learning.
The pilot process at Erie 1 BOCES is an impportant piece to determining the right tools we need our teachers and students to have access to for supporting authentic, personalized, and responsive learning environments. It is important to us to have multiple perspectives and roles on the evaluation team as we increase the technologies available to our staff and students. Teachers should discuss their ideas with their building leader and then complete the "Pilot Request" on Service Now (just click the underlined link to go to the Service Now page).
Below are some examples of pilot projects in Erie 1 BOCES programs in the 2019-2020 school year.
