Number Talks 3-8

Whether you have tried NUMBER TALKS with your students, or are new to NUMBER TALKS, this workshop will help you learn how to make the 10-15 minute classroom routine a vibrant and essential part of your mathematics classroom practice. You will learn about creating a classroom environment that creates risk taking, learning from others, and develops mathematical language and discourse. You will learn what the teacher’s role is and the student’s role is during NUMBER TALKS.
