Supporting ELLs Through Mathematical Language Routines

Goals for the session include: 1) Learn what mathematical language routines are. 2) Discover how mathematical language routines support language and math instruction simultaneously for all students, especially English Language Learners. 3) Identify practical strategies for implementing the routines in your classroom.

Interdisciplinary Choice Boards with Science in Mind

We will review aspects of instructional practices, 3D science components, explore examples of various choice board alternatives, discuss developing cross curricula options for students, and share an idea for managing choice boards with Google Forms.
