In this component, teachers create, curate, or harvest videos for students to watch on their own time within a given timeframe. These videos are on a new concept or skill for students to learn. By giving students time to watch these videos independently, they can pause and review the information more than once and during a time they can focus on the new content.
The purpose of this video is to discuss the importance of asynchronous videos, the types of asynchronous videos, best practices for creating videos, and ways to model asynchronous learning with students.
