1. Position 1: research assistant in statistics - team of the (sub)project P2: „An economical approach of the antimicrobial resistance”

• Determined period: 1.10.2018-30.09.2020

• Working time: 8 hours/day
• Responsabilities:
  • Statistical analysis of data (descriptive and exploratory analysis, correlation and regression, analysis of variance)
  • Implementation of R functions to pre-process, analyze and visualize the data
  • Preparing reports
  • Writing scientific papers
• Required skills:
  • Biostatistics
  • R programming
  • Communication skills and ability to work in inter-disciplinary teams
• Professional experience:
  • preliminary experience in the statistical analysis of data
• Studies: master level
  • Fieled: mathematics/ statistics
• Foreign languages: English
• Other: knowledge of methods of Bioinformatics represents an advantage

2. Position 2: research assistant in informatics - team of the (sub)project P5: “Analysis of the antimicrobial resistance network: identification of critical nodes and the cost-benefit analysis of the usage and diagnosis"

• Working time: 8 hours/day
• Responsabilities:
  • Implementation of Python/R applications for data processing
  • Usage and implementation of software tools for the networks analysis
  • Preparing reports
  • Writing scientific papers
• Required skills:
  • Programming in Python/R
  • Knowledge of methods/algorithms for networks analysis
  • Communication skills and ability to work in inter-disciplinary teams
• Professional experience:
  • preliminary experience in the research activities
• Studies: master level
  • Fieled: computer science
• Foreign languages: English
• Other: knowledge of methods of Bioinformatics represents an advantage
