Remote Learning: PLEASE READ!
Welcome to Third Grade! We are so excited to begin the 2020-2021 school year. Due to COVID-19 and local mandates, we will be starting the school year remotely. All remote learning will take place on the district learning platform Schoology.
To access Schoology go to Dysart.org > Students Tab > Tools > Schoology
Students will need to log in with their student credentials which will be communicated to you by your classroom teacher. As unique and different as this year will be, we still plan for this to be a great year of learning and growth! Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have.

How do we access our work?

Helpful Tips for Students
If your child is using a school provided Chromebook make sure to completely shut it off at the end of every day.
If your child is using a school provided Chromebook check for updates weekly as that will help with connectivity issues.
During independent work time students will need to exit the class meet in order to prevent a lag/disconnect issue on Schoology. However, they may rejoin the class meet if they need additional support with the assignment.
Make sure you are using Google Chrome as your browser
Be logged into your student Google account within the Chrome browser
What do I do if I have a question?
Reach out to your child's teacher with any questions or concerns you may have. Email, message on Class Dojo, or text us at our Google Voice Numbers.
How do I contact the School Social Worker?

How will grades work?
Weekly grades are added to Schoology by Wednesday of the next week.
How is attendance counted?
In-Person students must attend Google Meets and follow the daily schedule.
iSchool students check-in each day by complete the Daily Check-In in the AM Attendance course OR attending a Google Meet OR completing work.
