DIBELS beginning of year assessment to see if your child is reading at grade level is next week. Please make sure your child reads at home every day. Even if he/she reads 3-5 pages out loud each day, he/she will improve.  5th grade passages are much longer than 4th.

Beginning of Year Goal: 110 words per minute  DAZE Comprehension: 18

Middle of Year Goal: 120        DAZE Comprehension: 20     

End of Year Goal: 130 words per minute     DAZE Comprehension: 26
