About the Teacher

Parents and Students,

Welcome to my 5th grade class!

This is my 22nd  year teaching at Kingswood.

 I graduated from ASU in 1992 with a B.A. in Journalism, Photojournalism Emphasis and a Minor in Political Science.

 I went on to obtain a Masters in Education, Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix in 2003. 

 I have dedicated my life to teaching, and promise that your son/daughter will make gains in my class.

I have two wonderful children, Anthony, 31, and Ashley, 29, both of whom went to Kingswood from Kindergarten through 8th grade. They went on to be in the top 2% and 10% of their graduating class at Valley Vista High School. Anthony graduated from Devry University with a degree in Multimedia Design and Development. Ashley graduated from ASU with a degree in Forensic Science. 

Something about me: In 2016, I published my first two children's books  called                                   Ooboo and friends - The Magical Rocketship and Ooboo and friends - The Penguin Parade. I wrote the books, and my son, Anthony, illustrated the pictures.
