Optional School Supply List

Ms. Simpson’s Class

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Here is a list of school supplies that will be helpful for your child to have this year in first grade.

 These items are intended only for your child and can be labeled.

1 Plastic school/pencil box                   

1 dozen plain (Ticonderoga) #2 pencils

(no plastic coating because it does ruins our sharpeners)

2 plain (hard) plastic prong/pocket folders

2 composition notebook (no spirals please)                                                       

6-8 (thin, black only please) dry erase markers

1 pair of headphones (over the head please to be used in school computers)                        

6-8 glue sticks 

1 pair or small blunt scissors 

2 boxes 16-count crayons

1 box colored pencils                                 

2 large pink erasers                           

2 boxes of tissues

I would greatly appreciate any of the following items for the class…

·   box of snack, quart or gallon-sized baggies

·   cleaning wipes

·   small package of page/sheet protectors

·   ream of white or colored copy paper
