Mrs. Polk

Hello, my name is Heather Polk and I will be your child's science teacher for the remainder of the 2024 school year.

I have taught middle school science at Surprise Elementary and Imagine Prep and look forward to my new chapter at Countryside! I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master's degree in Teaching English to Students of Other Languages from the University of Southern California. 

My husband and I have three adult children, four dogs, one cat, and 25 chickens! We love to hike, camp, and work on home improvement projects together. Together we run a local nonprofit that provides a variety of resources for those in need, sponsors a monthly food bank and a monthly homeless dinner.
