Job Title:  Reading Interventionist K-3

Email: elizabeth.schultz@dysart.org

Office Hours:  8:30AM - 4:00PM

I love teaching! I especially love teaching children to READ! I have been in education for over 20 years. I have taught Kindergarten through 8th grade, as well as long-term subbing in Kinder through 12th grade. Most of the women in my family were in education going back 4 generations. My mother was a college professor for 30 years and continued to volunteer with students in public education during her retirement. Education is in my heart and soul.

I graduated from Arizona State University with honors and earned a Masters in Human Relations and in Elementary Education with a Reading Endorsement through Northern Arizona University with honors. Reading and Writing are my passion. I am fully vested in our children and their future. I am committed to being a life-long learner to build a better future for our children.

I have lived in our community for over twenty-five years. Our oldest son went through Dysart Unified School District years ago. My husband and I spend every moment we can with our family and friends making memories. My favorite part of life right now is being a grandmother and taking care of my elderly mother!

I also love gardening, swimming, exercising, and reading. I believe that family is the most important component in a child's education and no matter what a family's dynamic is; parents and family members should always support the child throughout their educational career. My goal as your child's intervention teacher is to support and facilitate their success and support you every way I can.

Please feel free to contact me anytime for additional information or resources that I can help you with.
