All About Me

Hi,

My name is Mary Irving and I'll be your student's 5th grade English Language Arts teacher.  This is my 18th year in education and all of it has been at Ashton Ranch. I've taught 1st grade for 3 years and 3rd grade for 8 years. This is my seventh year in 5th grade.  I moved to Arizona in 2003 from New Jersey with my husband and 2 children.  I also share my house with 3 dogs and some fish. 

Our class had a resident frog named Philly who sadly passed away during the holidays 2023 at 18 years old!  We will be welcoming some new class residents when school begins again in August.

I hope you had a relaxing summer! I'm looking forward to meeting everyone as we begin an exciting year of learning!
