Volunteer Wiki

Welcome to the Volunteer Wiki.

This site is the shared reference point for people already volunteering with Dyrenes Alliance (DA) and taking part in the volunteer Discord. It is here to help you find practical guidance, activity instructions, safety information, role clarity and current coordination routes.

Current coordination

DA is currently in a transition period for volunteer coordination. The previous regional coordination roles are no longer active.

Discord is the central place for volunteer communication, questions, activity updates and coordination. Volunteer opportunities and event updates are shared there. If you are unsure where to ask a question, ask for help in Discord and use the most relevant channel available.

For questions that require coordination beyond a specific event or Discord conversation, Victoria Santos is the temporary point of coordination for the volunteer area until DA has a new part-time volunteer coordinator in place.

How to use this wiki

Use the menu or search to find what you need.

If you are planning an activity, start with Events & Activism Playbooks.

If you are new inside the volunteer community, start with Start here and the Quick Start Checklist.

For the current volunteer setup, read Volunteer coordination update.

What this wiki is - and is not

This wiki is a practical guide to how we do things.

Formal policies may exist elsewhere. If anything conflicts, the formal policy wins.

If you spot an error

Ask for help in Discord or tell Victoria Santos what you found.

If you have access, you can also propose an edit directly.
