Volunteer coordination update

Dyrenes Alliance is currently in a transition period in how volunteer coordination is organised.

The previous Regional Coordinator roles are no longer active. This is due to changes in funding and organisational capacity.

For now, Victoria Santos is the temporary point of coordination for the volunteer area, until DA has a new part-time volunteer coordinator in place.

What this means for volunteers:

• Discord is the central place for volunteer communication, questions, activity updates and coordination.

• Volunteer opportunities and event updates will be shared on Discord.

• If you are unsure where to ask a question, ask for help in Discord. Use the most relevant channel you can find, and if you are unsure where to ask, simply say so there.

• If something requires coordination beyond a specific event or Discord conversation, Victoria is the temporary point of contact.

If you were previously in contact with a Regional Coordinator, please use the current Discord-based contact flow instead.

This is a practical adjustment to keep volunteer work going in a clear and manageable way while DA works on the next version of the volunteer setup.
