AI Poets is a course featuring cross-schools and cross-subjects. The technology and language teachers in DaWan High School and Kaohsiung Municipal Girls' High School team up to teach students to write a new poetry theme database for big data through training AI, with the introduction of artificial intelligence for literary creation.
Dawanlogy is a course in which teachers guide students “to learn about the local, interact with the global.” By combining three courses of photography, English output skills and postcard creating, students interact with the global on the platform of Postcrossing.Students broaden their international horizons in the course.
The Reflection to Transitional Justice is a cross subjects course of Chinese and Civics, with White Terror, the political repression period in Taiwan history, as the core of the whole course. This course helps students understand the issue through texts and discussions, and encourage students to learn how to curate their own views on White Terror on campus.
Play with Science in class is one of the weekend optional courses for students who wanted to learn more about scientific fields that they are interested in. In this course, students can learn more about Physics and Chemistry through experiments such as Water Rocket. Students learn Science through not only textbooks or tests but also hand-on activities.
