I grew up as a Dawson-Boyd Blackjack and am thrilled to be back as a teacher in the district! After high school, I received my degree in Elementary Education/Middle School Endorsements from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. Right after college, I taught 6, 7, 8 grade Language Arts in Rockford, MN. I also taught in St. Michael; 5th grade for two years and 3rd grade seven years. This is my 10th year at DBHS.
My husband Steve (also a DBHS alum) and I have been married since 2005.
We have three children: Addy is a freshman at the University of St. Thomas, Cale is in 10th grade and Connor is in 7th grade.
I am excited for to learn so much with all of you this year!
