We were so excited to be awarded the grant to purchase 4 Cue Robots. We have spent a lot of time learning how to operate and code these robots and are excited to be able to use our skills to work with other younger students to inspire them to get involved in coding robots too. When one of the first grade teachers at our school saw our robots she applied for a grant to get some for her first graders as well. We were so excited when her grant was funded and she asked the Moxies to come into her class and give her students a tutorial on how these Cue robots work.
1DFCCBB3-C818-44FE-A221-7D462E2CBB35.MOVIt is our intention to also create a similar partnership with some of the local Girl Scout troops in our area and plans were made for an event to make that happen. Unfortunately, a scheduling conflict derailed those plans and we are in communication to now push that plan to next year's agenda when it will work better for all parties. We are anxious to show those young girls what these robots can do and to show them how fun and engaging coding, robotics and STEM really are!
