General Education Certificate
Elementary K-8
We have created a program of study for this cohort that would best support DVUSD educators and meet ADE certification requirements. This program of study includes 2 semesters of content methods, 2 semesters of reading instruction, and asynchronous courses for learning environments and human development. Additionally, classroom based learning including coaching cycles with district content coaches will be completed each semester. Course Work
There are more than 200 hours of professional development included in the program.
Observation
Additional coaching occurs through regular classroom visits and lesson planning sessions.
Rise Track
The Rise Track is designed to support teacher-interns who would like to have some classes under their belt before having their own classroom or caseload. Through a series of classroom observations and instructional opportunities, Rise interns have different entry into the classroom. Learn more here
