Leading Enrichment Afterschool in Del Valle (LEAD) is a free Del Valle ISD program offering a wide variety of afterschool tutoring and enrichment opportunities for students in grades Pre-K-12 at all elementary, middle and high school campuses. Programs run Monday – Thursday, September 6th– May 18th. There is no cost to families for participation in this program. Admission to the program is conducted through a lottery system at the elementary level and by rolling admission for middle and high school students. Interested students of all ages should complete the online application to be considered.

Elementary students in grades Pre-K through second are grouped with their peers and participate in class rotations that expose students to a wide variety of enrichment experiences including art, music, fitness, science and technology, literacy development and more.
Elementary students in grades three through five can sign up for a variety of classes according to their interests. Classes may include sports, art, music, performing arts, science, technology, engineering and math, Cub Scouts or Girl Scouts and more. Students in grades six through eight can sign up for a variety of classes according to their interests. Academic Tutoring in literacy and math will be available for students in grades Kindergarten through eighth grade. Please reach out to your campus Enrichment Program Specialist for more information.
Students in grades nine through twelve can sign up for a variety of classes and experiences that connect them to internships, opportunities for college scholarships, leadership development and more according to their interests. Classes may include ballet folklorico, art, Science Olympiad, coding, sports broadcasting, graphic design, robotics, chess, leadership development, career exploration and more. Texas Rowing Center: The Juniors Program is dedicated to developing young rowers ages 12 to 18 by teaching technique, teamwork, and self-discipline.
