Committees are a regular part of large organizations like SkillsUSA: they provide a place for more members to get involved in leadership by helping to focus on particular tasks that help the full program run as smoothly as possible. SkillsUSA has standing committees specifically focused on the Programs of Work as required by the national organization. Each committee provides an essential function, and actively contributes to the success of the program on Warren High's campus.
MVL is entrusted with the the chapter's mission and vision goals for each school year, and evaluates progress on those goals and objectives as implemented by the Executive Council. This committee makes recommendations about program process and procedures, and works to plan for the future, recommend leaders, and evaluate program procedures. Their special task each year is application for Chapter of Excellence, which has afforded our club funding scholarships and awards for many years in a row.
