Course Description

Advanced Wind Band continues on band technique to upgrade instrumental techniques and playing to a higher level. Students will experience a few fun performances throughout the year as well as music festival field trips, such as Music in the Parks in Denver and CHSAA Instrumental Festival. Students build on upper level musical skills and knowledge with concerts, small group unit, pop tunes unit, and modern music unit. Students also have further opportunities for outside music events and trips.
