Apple Pie Contest

Rules

Pies must be set-up at the gazebo at Dunellen HarvestFest on Sunday, October 12 by 11am. The results of the judging will be announced at 2:15pm Sunday, October 12, 2025. Judges' decisions are final.

• Crust and filling must be homemade.

• Primary ingredient is apples. Apple variety to be identified.

• Use of lard or allergens such as nuts must be identified.

• No professional bakers.

• Reusable tins should have name and contact info on bottom. And can be picked up at the end of the festival.

• If available, recipe to be shared.

No Registration Fees. Non-Dunellen residents may participate. Entrance into contest is implied parental consent of having photos of child participant printed in the Dunellen Report, on Dunellen411.com (website and Facebook), and other local media.
