Apple Pie Contest

Rules

Pies must be set up at the gazebo at Dunellen HarvestFest on Sunday, October 11, by 11:00 AM. The results of the judging will be announced at 2:15 PM on Sunday, October 11, 2026. Judges' decisions are final.

• Crust and filling must be homemade.

• The primary ingredient is apples. Apple variety to be identified.

• Use of lard or allergens such as nuts must be identified.

• No professional bakers.

• Reusable tins should have the name and contact info on the bottom. And can be picked up at the end of the festival.

• If available, recipe to be shared.

No Registration Fees. Non-Dunellen residents may participate. Entrance into the contest implies parental consent of having photos of child participant printed in the Dunellen Report, on Dunellen411.com (website and Facebook), and other local media.
