Purpose: The DHS HUB offers both mandatory and drop-in tutoring to DHS students, grades 9-12. Our focus is to review and further explain the curriculum taught in academic classes. With input from our faculty about ongoing tests, projects and assignments, we serve the full range of scholars in all academic areas. In addition to content-area tutoring, we also assist with organization, time-management, and study skills.
We strive to provide everything our students need to complete their assignments: tutoring, chromebooks, printers, textbooks, and a wide variety of school supplies.
Our staff of tutors includes credentialed teachers, college graduates, and current college students, as well as peer volunteer tutors to serve student needs. Our mission is to be the place scholars gather to strive for academic excellence.
