WorkAbility provides services and experiences leading to gainful employment to high school students with individualized education plans. Our program facilitates a successful transition to post-secondary opportunities through various instruction, counseling, guidance, and career awareness and exploration.
We provide pre-employment skills training, employment placement, and follow-up for high school students ages 16-22 in special education, who are making the transition from school to work, independent living and post-secondary education or training.
WorkAbility 1 is a joint effort among high schools, community agencies and local business to support students who receive special education services make a successful transition from school to the world of work.

This wonderful No Tax on Tip Bill was signed into law on July 4, 2025 and offers:
starting with the 2025 tax year, there will be no federal tax on reported cash tip income for eligible cash earners through 2028.
the cash tip income is up to $25,000 of deducrable cash reported income for individuals earning less than $150,000 per taxable year.
this "no federal tax bill" also offers up to $12,500. deductable credit on overtime pay from 2025 through 2028
