Peer Tutors
Peer Tutors work in conjunction with Professional Tutoring staff to assist fellow students in different subject areas. Peer Tutors assist students in subject areas in which they themselves have received good grades. All Peer Tutors maintain a GPA of above 3.0. Peer Tutors work in the Tutoring Center during Gael Periods, at lunch, and after school as scheduled.
Peer tutors applications are ongoing. If you are interested in becoming a peer tutor, please print and fill out the Peer Tutor Application. Turn it into the ARC.
Current Peer Tutors
The ARC is currently taking applications for peer tutors for the 2024/25 school year:
Tutors for Hire
In addition to their work during the school day, we sometimes have tutors available for hire during non-ARC hours (evenings and weekends). They can tutor middle school students as well as DHS students. The following procedures should be followed:
Email the tutor at the email address listed below.
Negotiate a rate of pay for each 50 minute tutoring session.
Arrange to meet the tutor in a public place such as the Dublin Library, Starbucks, etc. Dublin Peer Tutors DO NOT go to private homes to tutor.
Peers Tutors
The list of student peer tutors available to take private clients during non-school hours will be updated in October. Please check back. Please contact them directly to inquire about their availability. Please remember that Dublin Peer Tutors DO NOT go to private homes to tutor.
