Purpose:
The Freshman Mentor Program provides each freshman with a supportive environment that helps ease their adjustment from middle school to high school. The personal, social and academic growth of each freshmen student is nurtured through an ongoing orientation that includes information about school policies, procedures and programs, academic and social counseling and relationship building through upperclassmen mentors.
FMP supports each Freshman in the following ways:
Help freshmen navigate their first year in high school within a supportive classroom community by taking part in relationship building activities.
Provide time and guidance for freshmen to explore what clubs, sports, and other activities that are offered at DHS and EHS.
Communicate what is going on around campus and demonstrate DUBLIN pride.
Mentor and share how a freshmen can make the most of the highschool experience!
