Round 2 - In Person Interviews:
Year 1 Applicants: The week of March 23rd, you will be asked to come in for an in person interview during your Gael period. (If you are scheduled to be off campus on a field trip, we will have further directions to schedule your interview on a different day!)
Year 2 Applicants: The selection team will conduct follow up in person interviews with individual applicants as needed.
FMP Mentors Application Information 2026-27
DHS is looking for dedicated students going into their Junior and Senior year to be a part of the Freshman Mentor Program. An FMP Mentor will be supporting Dublin High School and Emerald High School freshmen in the following ways:
Help freshmen navigate their first year in high school within a supportive classroom community by taking part in relationship building activities.
Provide time and guidance for freshmen to explore what clubs, sports, and other activities that are offered at DHS and EHS.
Communicate what is going on around campus and demonstrate DUBLIN pride.
Mentor and share how a freshmen can make the most of the highschool experience!
FMP will be taking place in the 2026-27 school year during Contemporary Health class, once a week for 30 minutes during Guided Gael in both Dublin High School and Emerald High School classes.
As a mentor, you will be assigned to a classroom that you will attend on Tuesday or Wednesday during your Gael period for the first 30 minutes. You will also be required to attend training, twice a month during lunch to learn and build on your skills of being an effective mentor. The mentor commitment lasts the entire school year! You can see a sample of other FMP Mentor requirements from this current school year on the “Expectations and Guidelines” tab on the DHS FMP Website.
