FMP Mentors Application Information 2023-24

DHS is looking for dedicated students going into their Junior and Senior year to be a part of the Freshman Mentor Program. An FMP Mentor will be supporting Dublin High School and Emerald High School freshmen in the following ways:

FMP will be taking place in the 2023-24 school year during Contemporary Health class, once a week for 30 minutes during Guided Gael in both Dublin High School and Emerald High School classes.

As a mentor, you will be assigned to a classroom that you will attend on Tuesday or Wednesday during your Gael period for the first 30 minutes. You will also be required to attend training, twice a month during lunch to learn and build on your skills of being an effective mentor. The mentor commitment lasts the entire school year! You can see a sample of other FMP Mentor requirements from this current school year on the “Expectations and Guidelines” tab on the DHS FMP Website.
