  • ACE Mentor Program - Architecture, construction and Engineering. To engage, excite and enlighten high school students to pursue careers in architecture, engineering and construction through mentoring and to support their continued advancement in the industry.

  • Adelphi University - Pre-College summer program in New York

  • AMDA High School Summer Conservatory - Los Angeles and New York City

  • Ball State University Interior Design Summer Workshop - The Youth Interior Design Forum (YIDF) is a workshop open to high school students of any grade level and gives them the opportunity to experience interior design firsthand. The workshop blends tradition and innovation in creative learning, covering areas in applied critical thinking and exploration with materials. During the workshop, students explore the fundamentals of 2D and 3D concepts, learn basic drawing and illustration skills, play with color use and light effects, and learn how interior environments affect human behavior.

  • Beacon College Summer for Success High School Program - their summer program aims to give college-bound high school students who learn differently the skills, confidence and preparation to successfully transition from high school. They do so by helping them better understand their learning differences, recognize early stumbling blocks and know what they need to succeed in their first year of college. Their core courses are structured to meaningfully prepare students for college to be more effective and confident learners. Most importantly, rising juniors/rising seniors get to experience what it’s like to live — and learn — on a college campus.

  • Boston University Academy of Media Production - AMP students learn the power of visual storytelling by creating videos, short films, webcasts, and more. This dynamic online experience provides the opportunity to interact and collaborate with like-minded students from around the world, live and in real time. Be part of the show and demonstrate what you can do.

  • Boston University Pre-College Programs - Prepare for success in college at Boston University Summer Term. With five exciting and challenging high school summer programs to choose from, you can earn college credit, discover a new subject area, perform cutting-edge research in University labs, or immerse yourself in hands-on learning. Push yourself academically while experiencing college life, making new friends, and engaging in social activities around Boston and on campus. BU Summer Term offers you a choice of one-, two-, three-, and six-week programs, with options to live on campus, commute from home, or study online. We invite you to join other motivated teens from 50 states and 87 countries to experience this great introduction to college life and academics.

  • Columbia University Academic Year Immersion - Programs for high school students. Through the Academic Year Immersion program, high schoolers will prepare for the college experience through exploratory coursework and community activities over ten weekends this fall. As a program participant, you will - differentiate yourself with a Columbia Statement of Completion and personalized evaluation letter, delve into academic interests, build a community of lifelong connections, participate in world-class co-curricular activities. This highly selective program is open to academically exceptional high school students, grades 9–12.

  • Cornell University School of Continuing Education and Summer Sessions - Precollege programs for talented high school students. Experience the excitement of college life, take college courses with renowned faculty, and enjoy an "unforgettable, life-changing summer."

  • COSMOS California State Summer School for Mathematics and Science - COSMOS is an intensive four-week summer residential program for students who have demonstrated an aptitude for academic and professional careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects. Talented and motivated students completing grades 8-12 have the opportunity to work with renowned faculty, researchers and scientists in state-of-the-art facilities, while exploring advanced STEM topics far beyond the courses usually offered in California high schools. Through challenging curricula that are both hands-on and lab intensive, COSMOS fosters its students’ interests, skills, and awareness of educational and career options in STEM fields.

  • CSSSA California State Summer School for the Arts - A four week summer program for talented and motivated high school students in California and beyond.

  • Curry Summer Music Camp - Northern Arizona University, School of Music, Orchestra, Piano, Choir and Band. Deadline March 10th

  • Doctors on Board Pipeline Program - The program is an innovative and exciting opportunity for African American/Black students to experience a rare snapshot of what it takes to become a physician or pharmacist.

  • Dublin Partners in Education (DPIE) - Stem Enrichment Academy Summer Program - Dublin Partners in Education's STEM Academy is designed for both the middle and high school students. Their mission is to maximize learning by offering high school students the opportunity to complete courses during the summer so they might progress through high school at an accelerated pace as well as experience a wider range of classes during the school year.

  • Dublin San Ramon Services District No Cost - Clean Water Industry Career Education - for seniors who are looking for a challenging career which provides excellent pay, benefits and promotional opportunities - Water and Wastewater Plant Operators in the Bay Area can earn $50,000, plus benefits, in the first year of employment.

  • Duke University Youth Programs Summer

  • EMBARC Berkeley Summer Design Academy - A program for high school students to explore architecture, urban design and sustainable city planning at UC Berkeley's college of Environmental Design.

  • FIDM - Summer program for high school students - San Diego, San Francisco, Orange County or Los Angeles. Experience fashion through the eyes of a college student in their immersive summer program.

  • Field Projects International - Their first foray into wildlife research began as early as 2009, with the beginnings of a study into tamarin reproductive biology. In 2013, we acquired 501(c)3 accreditation and began to offer research training programs in field biology, as well as courses in tropical biology and field methods. In 2018, they expanded our focus to include bats, small mammals, and birds and also began an ongoing adventure in field-based conservation genomics laboratories. Three goals - Conservation, Research and Education.

  • Galaxy Explorers - Chabot Space & Science Center - The Galaxy Explorer program provides high school students with an opportunity for hands-on, fun community service work while giving them a chance to develop their job skills, increase their STEM knowledge, and enhance public speaking. The program is a year round commitment and Galaxy Explorers are required to participate in a minimum of 8 hours of enrichment per month.

  • George Washington University - make the nation's capitol your classroom. Areas of study, arts, business, communications, government & politics, history & humanities, and STEM.

  • Gettysburg College Summer Programs - Camp Psych, Campaigns and Elections Academy, Young Writers Workshop, 3D Object Modeling and Printing Camp, Arduino Camp, and Civil War Institute.

  • Grammy Camp - GRAMMY Camp Los Angeles is a 5-day nonresidential summer music industry program for high school students interested in having a career in music. Hosted on the campus of USC Thornton School of Music in Los Angeles, students from across the country apply for one of the eight offered career tracks. GRAMMY Camp faculty of music professionals as well as guest industry professionals provide valuable insight to give the campers the best chance at achieving success in their chosen career.

  • Harvard Summer School - Every summer, more than 2,000 high school students from around the world are selected to attend and experience college life.

  • Intensive Spanish Summer Institute - Lake Tahoe Community College

  • Johns Hopkins Biomedical Engineering Innovation - Biomedical Engineering Innovation is a fully online course that introduces biomedical engineering to high school students by (1) modeling biological systems and designing experiments to test those models and (2) introducing engineering principles to solve design problems that are biological, physiological, and/or medical.

  • Johns Hopkins Engineering Innovation - Engineering Innovation will be offered in-person in at least fourteen locations around the U.S., including two residential programs. The course includes lectures and hands-on activities and labs which cover chemical, mechanical, civil, and electrical engineering, as well as materials science.

  • Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Explorer's Program - Anyone between ages 16-21 who is interested in the Fire service itself or pursuing a career in the Fire Service, may apply.

  • Loyola Marymount University Summer Pre-College Programs - Summer pre-college programs at Loyola Marymount University are an engaging opportunity for motivated high school students to get a sneak peek at college through a unique experience designed to challenge their critical and creative ways of thinking.

  • Miami University Summer Scholars Program - Miami Ohio

  • MIT Office of Engineering Outreach Programs - national outreach program to empower talented students with the knowledge and confidence necessary to pursue careers in technical fields.

  • NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) Student Opportunities

  • National Youth Science Camp - a residential science education program for young STEM enthusiasts the summer after they graduate from high school. Students from around the country (two are selected to represent each state and Washington, D.C.) are challenged academically in exciting lectures and hands-on studies, and have voluntary opportunities to participate in an outdoor adventure program, gain a new and deep appreciation for the great outdoors, and establish friendships that last a lifetime.

  • Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology - Operation Catapult - an exciting summer camp experience full of science, engineering and math awesomeness, with STEM opportunities that allow high school juniors or seniors reach into robotics, or do cool things like brew bio-diesel or make a machine from scratch.

  • Rutgers Pre-Engineering Summer Academy This intensive one-week certificate program will introduce students to a variety of engineering areas including: Aerospace, Biomedical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Forensic and Mechanical

  • Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts Washington University in St. Louis - Architecture Discovery Program and Portfolio Plus Program

  • Santa Clara University Spring Engineering Days - The SEEDs program provides high school students with a unique opportunity to explore introductory engineering topics. Selected participants virtually come to Santa Clara University over the course of three Sundays in April to participate in workshops spanning several engineering disciplines. Workshops are presented in a typical university format, with a mix of lecture and interactive experiences. There is no cost to participate in this program.

  • Santa Clara University Summer Engineering Seminar - The SES program is an outstanding, four-day experience in July offering specially designed introductory workshops taught by our engineering faculty. Workshops are presented virtually as a mix of lecture and interactive work, spanning several fields of engineering. The SES program also provides students with a taste of university life, as they interact with our faculty, students and other members of the SCU community.

  • Sarah Lawrence College - they offer residential and day classes in film-making, creative writing, game design and social justice (through art). We're located in Bronxville, Westchester County, New York, 30 minutes north of NYC by train.

  • SMASH Academy - Our 3 year, intensive STEM focused college prep program that empowers students to deepen their talents and pursue STEM careers. For 4 – 5 weeks every summer, scholars are immersed in tuition-free studies in partnership with leading universities throughout the country. For grades 9-12th and self identify as - Latino/Hispanic, African American, Native American, Pacific Islander or underrepresented Asian.

  • Stanford Medicine/Stanford Valley Care Clinical Academy - aims to bring young learners an active experience surrounding the practice of medicine in the Tri-Valley area. It aims to provide meaningful educational experiences while fostering professional connections with Stanford faculty, trusted community physicians, and hospital staff who are eager to share their passion for the field of medicine. Program is two weeks.

  • Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies Academic Enrichment Programs - Our programs provide pre-collegiate students from the U.S. and around the world the chance to explore their passions and dive deep into a single topic beyond what is typically taught in a school curriculum.

  • Stevens Institute of Technology Pre-College Programs - You may not know exactly what you want to do yet, but you know whatever it is, it’s going to be big. When you enroll in a pre-college program at Stevens, you can explore your ideas and interests in a pressure-free, inspiring academic environment that welcomes big thinkers. What distinguishes their pre-college programs from others is that you get to create something from to start to finish: a business plan, a video game, an investment portfolio, a short animation.

  • Summer Discovery Pre-College Enrichment & Business Institutes for High School Students

  • Syracuse University Summer College - Summer College for high school students offers a broad range of 2-, 3-, 4- and 6-week programs that represent the various colleges Syracuse University. Deadline March 1st

  • UC Berkeley - Academic Talent Development Program -Since 1982, the program has invited excelling students from the Bay Area and around the world into a unique academic community. We look for strong students from all backgrounds who are hardworking, enjoy learning, and are prepared for an intellectually stimulating and demanding summer class. Courses are taught by outstanding public school, private school, and university instructors as well as industry professionals who have deep knowledge of their subject areas and are committed to helping students think and understand deeply.

  • UC Berkeley Business Academy for Youth - an intensive, two-week introduction to the business world

  • UC Berkeley Pre-College Scholars Summer Programs - The program invites high school students from all over the world, including the US, to participate in summer sessions to take UC Berkeley, earn college-level course credit, and get a real taste of university life.

  • UC Davis Young Scholars Program - is a summer residential research program designed to expose approximately 40 high achieving high school students to the world of original research within the fields of the biological, agricultural, environmental and natural sciences.

  • UC Santa Barbara Summer Sessions - Research Mentorship Program (RMP) - in this immersive six-week program, students participate in ongoing, university-level research projects in STEM, Humanities, or Social Sciences under the guidance of a mentor. Summer Research Academies - in this dynamic four-week program, students are introduced to the research enterprise through project-based, directed research in STEM, Humanities, and Social Sciences related fields. Students are admitted into one of the following research tracks based on their interests, and investigate a unique research question.   • UCLA Summer Sessions - For high school students who wish to gain academically challenging college-level experience.

  • University of Chicago - Discover the awesome course opportunities for high school students during the summer at the University of Chicago. Within a supportive campus community, students from all over the globe are exposed to diverse ideas in classrooms taught by world-class faculty and instructors.   • University of Idaho Virtual Summer Design Days - Virtual Summer Design Days is a LIVE online workshop series. Explore a wide range of art and design disciplines through hands-on projects in dynamic workshops led by our world-class faculty.   • University of Miami Summer Scholars Program - College for High school students. Three week session.

  • University of Michigan Stamps School of Art & Design - pre-college programs, offers portfolio-building courses in art and design, training from Stamps faculty and an up-close look at life on the campus of the University of Michigan

  • USC Cinematic Arts Summer Program for High School Students - Bring the USC School of Cinematic Arts to your doorstep! Learn from industry leading faculty from the #1 film school in the world from the comfort of your own living room. Enrich your knowledge of filmmaking, screenwriting, animation, game design and/or film/television business through a combination of online lectures and online student collaborations.

  • USC University of Southern California Bovard Scholars Program - Bovard Scholars are high-achieving, resilient and place a high value on education. They show leadership and are ready to take ownership of their academic path to success. Junior in high school (11th grader) at time of application, currently hold a 4.0 GPA or above, enrolled in Algebra II, Trigonometry or above, demonstrate financial need, have taken Advanced Placement/International Baccalaureate courses, if offered. This program is no cost to students or families.

  • USC Summer Programs for High School Students - Academically rigorous, socially enriched summer experience! Dive into an area of study at the university level, led by USC faculty, with classmates from around the world. The summer session will offer a wide range of topics. Explore course options and deepen your knowledge on a particular subject or discover something completely new while earning college credit.

  • Virginia Tech Black College Institute - Virginia Tech is hosting its 5th annual Black College Institute! They invite high-achieving and intellectually curious rising high school juniors and rising seniors to apply to participate in a virtual academic leadership program

  • Washington University in St. Louis Middle and High School Summer Experiences

  • Wentworth Institute of Technology - summerFAB High School Architecture Program. In this four-week summer design-build program, high school participants experience phases of an architectural project, from initial design concepts to building a full-scale construction on a site on campus. And get college credit for successfully completing the program! Eligibility: You may apply if you are a current high-school student entering grades 10 and above (current 9th graders through current 11th graders)

  • Wharton University of Pennsylvania - Pre-College Programs - Leadership in the Business World, Management & Technology Summer Institute, Wharton Sports Business Academy and Wharton Moneyball Academy.

  • William & Mary National Institute of American History and Democracy - Pre-college summer program in American History for high school juniors and seniors a three-week academic history course with college credit at the College of William and Mary. Courses are taught "on site" at the abundant museums and historic places in eastern Virginia.

  • Yale Young Global Scholars Program

  • Yale Young Global Scholars - Singapore

  • Young Worker Leadership Academy The University of California at Berkeley and Los Angeles, along with the Commission on Health and Safety and Workers' Compensation, sponsor a 3-day all-expense-paid Young Worker Leadership Academy (YWLA). This is a unique opportunity for youth to become leaders and advocates for teen labor rights, and health and safety.

  • YSPA - The Yale Summer Program in Astrophysics YSPA is a 4-week residential research and enrichment program for 32 rising high school juniors and seniors who are interested in astronomy, physics, math, computer programming, and other science and tech fields. Students take classes in physics, math, and astronomy, complete a scientific research project using telescopes at Yale, learn the basics of computer programming and data science, and present their results at the end of the program. YSPA has a small student-to-faculty ratio (32:6), so students get to know each other and the faculty very well. It’s a summer experience like no other.

Today, The Experiment offers summer programs for high school students in Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia and the Pacific. Students are challenged to explore the host country through hands-on experiences in local communities and through the lens of a specific theme.
