About Fatbrain Toys
The Fatbrain Toy company is a children's toy company, that manufactures toys to develop and challenge kids' brains. It was founded in 2002 by brilliant husband and wife, Mark and Karen Carson. Now after 20 years, the company is working 25.9 million dollars, standing at #4620 rank, globally.
Project Goals
So the idea of the project was to make something that would mirror a toy available in the early to mid-1900s. That’s why I made a small wallet that is easy to carry around. Nowadays, kids have electronic piggy banks so that they can save money. Whereas before this wallet digitalized, they carried normal pouches to store money. Keeping that in mind, I made this wallet so that it can be easily disassembled, and tucked away. Other times, it can help children understand the value and importance of saving money and other valuable items. This wallet is made out of one singular piece of carboard and can be assembled in no time.
Target Audience
The wallet is mainly designed for ages 5-9. It is easy to assemble purposely for them and requires no other tools. It also has secure edges once assembled, so that it can safely carry small objects. Children will surely be attracted to this wallet because of the way it assembles without hassle. Perfect for a young child learning about the value of money.
Budget
The entire wallet is built from a single cardboard sheet. The sheet will be cut by a laser cutter. It will require at least a 5x4 inch cardboard sheet with 0.030-inch thickness. This wallet also has minimal coloring expenses, so it is a great toy for people on a low budget. The cardboard sheet would cost 0.50 cents, and the coloring will cost an addition 0.50 cents making the total cost 1 dollar.
Key Deliverables
This season's new promotional product is going to be the Carry Wallet. This new wallet is meant for younger children to learn the idea of saving money. Its sleek design and the easy-to-assemble idea make it hard to resist children all around America.
