I have made a life-sized ludo board, where instead of moving the pieces, people themselves would move. I decided to make this unique board because I think it would be a lot more interactive and would put a fun spin on ordinary board games.
This project only used Fusion 360.
First, make a sketch with all the rectangles of Ludo. I made the board 100 x 100, made the home base rectangles 35 x 35, and made the running rectangles 10 X 5.83 to fit perfectly. Make sure to add the little symbols like the star and arrow in the board sketch as it is seen on the actual board.
Then extrude one part and color it one color. Make sure to create a separate component for it.
Then do the same for all of them. Each part should be a different color and a different component. This will make it easier to color the pieces.
Make sure two create a rectangle inside the rectangle for it to be properly extruded.
Then use the circular pattern to duplicate it on all four sides.
Then lastly make a new component, and in that new component extrude only the lining in between the two rectangles. Then paint it white.
For the last step make a border, which I made 120 x 120.
Finally, extrude that border a little bigger than the actual board. This is the final product.
