STEP 1 - Look at the rehearsal schedule for conflicts. (Note: you must be available for all days tech week!)
STEP 2 - Read the whole script!
CHARACTER BREAKDOWN
(Flexible, casting will be considered.)
*Victor Frankenstein – A young scientist
*Those auditioning for this role must learn the monologue and one other to be considered)
Elizabeth Lavenza – his adopted “cousin”
Alphonse Frankenstein – Victor’s Father
William (Live actor and Puppet) – Victor’s younger brother/ puppet for one sequence by the actor
Henry Clerval – a friend of Victor’s
Lionel Mueller – the local magistrate
Frau Mueller – the magistrate’s wife
Hans Metz – a villager, hired by Victor
Peter Schmidt – another villager, hired by Victor
DeLancey – a blind hermit
Justine Moritz – a maidservant
Fritz (puppet) - a small dog puppeteered by an actor
*The Creature – Victor’s creation. The voice of the Creature will be the central puppeteer.
*Those auditioning for this role must read the Victor / Creature scene and one other to be considered
**This character will have puppeteers combined with a live-action actor.
Casting for the actor at this time - any potential puppeteers or Creature auditionees must attend puppet callback on 5/28 from 3p-5p.
STEP 3 - Fill out the Google Information Form
STEP 4- Print, sign and bring BOTH the rehearsal contact and liability forms to your audition!
STEP 5- Sign up for an audition time (via Google Calendar)
Click on "August 27" to select a time slot
(Please arrive a few minute early!)
STEP 6 - Identify your acting and singing audition sides.
- You may use them during auditions.
STEP 7 - Prepare & practice!
Again, you are allowed to use your papers during the audition.
