I chose the course because I’m interested in going into physical therapy post-high school and I figured this class would teach me the most relevant information and help prepare me the best for that career. - Erika Lytle, Dublin Scioto, 2020
I can apply what I am learning about the human body and sports to my life right now. What you learn is actual relevant information that can help you in your life/future unlike some other courses. - Lucy Maust, Dublin Jerome, 2020
I find absolute joy in understanding why the body functions the way it does and how to maintain it and improve it. I love this course because I love doing labs and working with others in hands-on activities. I love being able to participate in the experiments and take down data that relates to me personally. - Velma Hall, Dublin Coffman, 2020
I chose this course because I was debating going into being a physical therapist and thought this course would be an interesting way to dip my toes in the sand. One of the things I think is really cool about this course is that you have access to a lot of exercise equipment and measuring equipment to measure strength and force used and a lot of other fascinating things. I like that it incorporates all things from anatomy and physiology to sports to the psychology behind it. - Amalia Rodriguez-Giusti, Dublin Coffman, 2020
The IA project has given me the opportunity to create a piece of work that I may be able to use in my future. - Caroline Koehler, Dublin Coffman, 2020
