Language Arts - Dempsey
Welcome Back !!
Hi Everyone, I am Ms. Dempsey and I teach language arts and modern literacy classes this year. This will be my 23rd year of teaching. Throughout my 23 years of teaching I have spent many years teaching elementary grade levels, worked in the technology department and now have been back to teaching middle school for the past 3 years. I am looking forward to getting back to school and making this year the BEST year of learning with all of you!
My family
I grew up in Canton, Ohio and went to college at Ohio State, Bowling Green and Toledo. I have two sisters and four brothers and lots of nieces and nephews. My niece, Paige Dempsey, is beginning her teaching career here in Dublin at Glacier Ridge Elementary as a district substitute and is the 7th grade volleyball coach at Grizzell.
Free Time
When I am not in school, I like to be outside hiking, biking, running, traveling and making memories with friends and family.
Triathlons
In the summer, up in Cleveland, my brothers, nephew and I enjoy competing against each other.
Beach Life
Whenever I can, I get away to North Carolina to hang at my beach place and soak up the sun and sand.
Travel
I love to travel abroad, learn about other cultures, see different architecture and meet people. My most recent trip abroad, I went to Munich, Germany.
