If you take a picture or download something from the internet, it will go to the Files area on your Chromebook.
The Files folder can be found in the apps area.
You might want to pin it to the Shelf for easy access.
The Files area on the Chromebook is a small, temporary space that will store your files.
The storage area is limited so files may be deleted from this are at any time to allow for the storage of other files.
To permanently save files, drag them to your Google Drive.
You can open your Google Drive and drag to specific folders within your Drive if you want.
You can also save directly to your Google Drive.
For example, if you find a picture you want to save, you can right click on the image to open this window.
Select Save to Google Drive --> Save image to Google Drive.
Tip: You can create a folder in your Drive just for Google Images saved from your Chromebook.
