There might be times you want to share what you have created with the class. You can do that by casting your Chromebook screen to another computer that is hooked to the projector.
Note to Teachers:
The computer the students are casting to (the computer hooked to the projector) needs to have AirServer installed and turned on. If you need help with this, please contact the tech lead teacher in your building.
There are 2 ways to access the Casting feature.
Click to open the Control Panel which is the bottom left corner of the desktop. Then click "Cast"
If Chrome is open, click on the skinny snowman in the top right corner. Select "Cast..."
Make sure to choose the correct device. You don't want your screen showing up on a computer in another room.
Double check with your teacher if you are not sure which one to choose.
When this window appears, click on the box showing your screen so that it has a blue line around it.
Click the blue Share button.
Note: There is a box that you can leave checked or uncheck depending on whether you will be sharing audio.
Once you click Share, the Chromebook screen will appear on the screen of the other computer.
