Meet Mrs. Strine

Hello! My name is Kara Strine. This is my third year serving the Bailey Family as the school counselor. I received my Master's in School Counseling from the University of Dayton. I have over 17 years' experience in education. Eleven of those years were spent in the classroom as an elementary teacher, two years as a high school counselor and the last six years as an elementary counselor.

My husband Doug and I live on a farm in Marion with our three children. Our oldest son, Josh just graduated from Ohio State and recently moved to Texas to attend graduate school. Our daughter Libby and son Luke attend The Ohio State University. I love spending time outdoors, enjoying our land and animals, especially our goldendoodles Remi and Sophie. I also love to read and travel. We are huge Buckeye fans and love OSU football and basketball.
