The Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) aims to position the University of Delhi as a global model for disability support, setting a benchmark for inclusive education and serving as a training hub for other Indian universities. By sharing its best practices, the EOC seeks to inspire institutions across the country to adopt similar support systems for students with disabilities.

The EOC also plans to build corporate partnerships to create opportunities for internships, mentorships, and employment tailored to PwD students, easing their transition into the workforce. Through these collaborations, the EOC aims to foster an ecosystem where students can develop relevant skills and engage actively in professional spaces.

Promoting community engagement is another key goal. The EOC organizes events, workshops, and outreach programs to raise awareness, challenge stereotypes, and foster empathy on campus. Additionally, it envisions integrating disability studies into the curriculum to mainstream accessibility and inclusion, helping students become socially conscious advocates. By engaging with policymakers, the EOC also seeks to influence systemic changes that promote inclusive education.
