In terms of non-academic aspects, I love playing board games with friends and family, traveling the world with my partner and reading books. I also love the smell of rain, the sight of sunsets by the ocean, the warmth of smiles that reach the eyes, moonlit skies, lanterns, fuchka, genuine laughter and a good cup of cha.
In terms of training and expertise, I am an Education Economist.
As of 2024, I am a recent PhD graduate from the University of Cambridge and an assistant professor at the Department of Economics, University of Dhaka.
This year (2024-2025), I am also very excited to be contributing to three large educational change-based projects in Bangladesh as an Education Research Consultant (part time) at the UNICEF I Global Office of Research and Foresight.
