Deriving from the Learning Needs Assessment (LNA) as a result of Employee Competency Assessment Tool (ECAT) on CY 2022, one of the top most Competency  Needs/ Learning Development Intervention is the Computer Knowledge Skills and Knowledge of Emerging Technologies of staff under First Level positions (SG 1-9). This is due to expansion of computer technologies into the workplace that entails the DSWD staff to understand the basic principles of computer processes now, more than at any other time.  Thus, it is deemed necessary for the staff to understand the ethical and social role of computers in the workplace to cope up with the emerging and fast technological advancement to ensure that vision, mission and goal of the Agency is attained 

Towards this end, the Department endeavours practical and advanced computer skills that are valuable and applicable in the workplace. Thus, this training on the Information and Communications Technology Refresher Workshop.
