On-the-Spot Recognition is designed to acknowledge achievements among its personnel, regardless of their rank and status, that contribute to organizational objectives, where higher-level recognition may not be suitable, such as honor awards or performance accolades. This provides an alternative method to reward and reinforce personnel excellence, focusing on specific instances of outstanding performance rather than overall performance. 

The Grant of Travel Incentive aims to provide an opportunity for retiring officials and employees to visit a DSWD Field Office and places under its jurisdiction personally chosen prior to his/her retirement to benchmark good practices in the delivery of public service.
